Hi Crate
Paper fans! It’s Bea with you today and I’m so excited to share a new layout as
part of ‘Sticker Book’ week here on the blog! The CP sticker books are jam-packed
with colorful and bright stickers, perfect for a lot of project including
planners, cards or layout! As I flipped through the summer-themed labels and
tags, I decided to create a ‘Planner style’ layout to document my photo from
our last summer vacation.
Do you ever
sit down to work on a layout and have a patterned paper that is exactly right
for the type of layout you want? That’s what happened with this layout! I loved
this ‘Peachy’ paper from Sunny Days collection, and it’s perfect to create a
layout in ‘planner style’! The printed lines, sentiments, and sections appointed
perfectly the place of the photo and journaling.
Even if my
favorite scrapbooking technique is layering, I challenged myself to make a
flat, structured page. On the left side of the page, I created grids using
longer stickers, and filled up the places with journaling and fun stickers from
the sticker book and from the Sunny Days cardstock sticker sheet.
I used
pink, blue and white threads to add fun machine stitched details to the tags. I
really love the result! The unusual style make my layout unique.
I placed
the photo to the top right corner of the page, and arranged a cluster to the
right side. I used foam tape to add the palm leave stickers and fruit chipboard
stickers. A little dimension is always good!
I love that
Crate Paper sticker books can be used universally. You can mix them with other
products easily. On the bottom left, I used alphabet stickers to add the
Favourites sentiment, and adhere chipboard stickers from Sunny Days collection
to decorate the tags.
I hope you
have found some new inspiration for using stickers on your layouts and
projects. They are easy to mix and match too, so take a look at your Crate
paper stash and get creative with those sticker books!
