Hi, everyone! Today I am sharing something a little different using the brand new and stunning New Day collection by Dear Lizzy! A tiny Happy Mail! Flipbooks or, pocket letters, are such a wonderful surprise to find in the letterbox or under the Christmas tree these days! ...and there’s nothing more fun to create either!
I can not even begin to explain my love for this collection. From the bright colors to the cute embellishments, to the fact that it's totally perfect for everyday occasions... the best gift for every crafty friend!
I’ve selected the pattern paper, Mindful for the base of my mail as I just adore both sides of it! Hard to tell which is the B side – it’s divine! The pom-pom tassel I added to the front is just adorable, and I completed with two others I created using wood veneers and cardstock sticker.
Let’s take a peak inside now...
I’ve created a couple of pocket strips and envelopes to hold the happy mail sweet treats. Here’s what’s underneath all those goodies…
I filled the pockets with tiny puffy stickers, ephemera pieces, and layered stickers.
You’ll also spy lots of pretty layered clips, and a few layered stickers and chipboard stickers on the interactive pages too!
I wanted to add a whole sheet of enamel dots to my happy mail (they are so cute with the triangle shape), so I created a tag, and adhered the sheet to the front. Such a fabulous and fun way to celebrate and cheer up friends!
In the last section, I taped in a little shaker pocket full of sequins and wood veneer pieces that I made using an old Project Life page protector and my WRMK fuse tool.
