Sunny Days in Rome layout | Crate Paper DT

Hey everyone, its Bea here with you today sharing a new layout as part of the ‘Alphabet stickers’ week. I always loved using alphabet stickers as design elements on my pages, and this layout was no exception.
I started my layout with die cutting a large heart shape from the pink Whimsy patterned paper from Sunny Days collection. My idea was to curve the title around the heart shape using glittered foam alphabet stickers.

With that in mind, I grabbed a pink thread and stitch around the heart with zig-zag pattern. I left free space for my title. When finished, I added the ‘Sunny days in Rome’ title to the right top of the heart. The title itself formed a large part of the page as a fun and functional design element and complements beautifully the stitched outline.

I chose the Retreat paper to back the heart, and printed out my photos of our vacation in Rome. I placed the photos to the bottom of the heart and layered tags behind.

The floral elements are just divine in this collection, I fussy cut a bunch of them from the Apple Blossom paper. I filled the right side of the heart with a lot of fussy cut flowers and adhered chipboard stickers and puffy stickers among them. I also attached two charms to the end of the stitched lines. I finished my page by adding a journaling tag to the left bottom of the layout to keep my story.

Thank you for stopping by today! This layout was a lot of fun to create! I hope it gives you some fun ideas to try with your alphabet stickers!
