Hi, Friends! Today I'm sharing fun ideas to decorate and organize the incredibly stunning Journal Studio notebooks from Crate Paper. I couldn’t be more excited about this new release by Crate Paper! I love to record our everyday adventures or write list of my plans, and goals!
I enjoy so much this method of documenting and capturing the goodness in life, and the unique supplies make the process easy and fun!

This time I decided to write a short ‘Fall Bucket List’ to be sure we don’t skip anything we love about this beautiful season. I started my layout by adding two pattern paper pieces to the corner of the pages. Due to the well-coordinated color scheme, it is pretty easy to find matching papers from other Crate Paper collections. I chose patterned paper from the Willow Lane collection, trimmed into 2 triangle pieces and adhered them to the page with double-sided tape. I also added washi tape to feature the diagonal edges.
Next, I added a current photo of us to the page. I wanted to keep the main focus on the photo, so I printed it doubly and adhered them next to each other. I adhered a gold insta-frame ephemera piece with a blue puffy sticker to the photo on the left side.
To create the title, I mixed and matched chipboard stickers with washi tape and black alphabet stickers from the sticker book. The sticker book is my absolute favorite item from the Journal Studio collection!! It contains tons of flower stickers, labels, sentiments, and tags, they are so beautiful and make it so easy to create pretty pages! I then went ahead and I added my handwritten bucket list to the pages. The one thing that helped me was to first draw lines and circles using the WRMK journal guide and then fill the lines with my list. It allowed me to keep clean and sorted my page.
One more TIP:
Keep organized your Journal Studio notebook by adding a bookmark! To do that, you can adhere a folded paper to the inner side of the cover, but if you want to spice up your bookmark I encourage you to attach your bookmark with stitching! To do that, grab a WRMK Book Binding Guide and poke holes following the guide instructions.
Then stitch through the edge using colored thread. Repeated the process on a patterned paper piece. When finished, stitch the paper to the notebook cover. So easy and fun!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope I could inspire you to get crafty with your Journal Studio set!
