TAKE ME AWAY projects + CUT FILES

Could you imagine more happy and colorful scrapbook collection than TAKE ME AWAY from Pink Paislee designed by Paige Evans?

It was the first time I had a whole collection in my hand (almost whole, because I didn't have some papers and the emphemera, which I missed soooo much).
I loved Paige Evans' first collection, the Fancy Free so much, and this collection is just as gorgeous, colorful and happy as the first.

Here are my first projects with this beautiful collection, I just loved every minute of playing them!

***

The paper with cross stitched roses paper 14 my personal favorite. I spent some lovely hours stitching the flowers and leaves, and I wanted to keep all focus on them. I just created a little cluster on the top left corner to balance my layout. I wrote a personal message for myself on a tag and placed it behind my photo.

I love the beautiful silky shine of the white thickers phrases and the mirror thickers!

The little frames with the colorful quotas of the Paper 24 inspired me for crating this layout! I turned a frame's shape into a cut file, enlarged it and embellished with some fussy cutting flowers. I love using the multi patterned paper for creating fussy cutting letters or other shapes with punches or my Cameo.

For adding some colorful details I stamped some images with the lovely Roller stamps on the right border of my page.

The patterns of the Paper 21 reminded me of quilt patterns, I think I could choose any of them as a base of a pretty layout. I turned two of them into simple geometric cut file and used them on my layouts.

Just can't get enough of these gorgeous flowers!

I enjoyed so much backing the hexagons with patterned paper. Easy and fun, and I just love the result.

This layout came from my kids last whimsy... they're whispering everywhere, and write secret messages just like little secret agents. I like the contrast  between the crowded city and the whispering children.

Createing on a base of a sketch is always a goog challenge. It allows to use my creativity but add some base point too. This month I choosed the Creative Scrappers sketch, this is my turn on the sketch.

I needed some more gold embellishment for my layout, so I colored the wood veneers with gold acrylic paint. I used decor tape for masking them.

I think this collection is just bagging to be collected in a cute and colorful minialbum, I will share more pictures about my project in an upcoming blog post.

I have two more layouts for this week, (they will be a GDT post on Friday) where I mixed the Fancy Free and the TMA collections with some pretty cut files :)

And finally a cute card for World Cardmaking Day! :)

Have a nice, crafty day! Bea
