Altenew 6th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 4 + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! I hope you are all staying healthy and safe. Today I'm sharing a fun mini album technique that results in interactive pages with a surprising, unique look.

I was inspired by the romantic and incredibly beautiful Garden Picks 3D die set by Altenew and wanted to create a mini album that suits the elegant style of the die set. 

I started my project by creating the cover. I trimmed down heavy cardstock into 3.5x7.5" and covered them with patterned papers. I attached the two parts with a piece of acetate sheet and two pieces of ribbon. Then I covered the inside of the cover with colored cardstock. 

Next, I cut out the pages from colored or glittered cardstock. I used my own designed cut file and my Cameo to cut out the pages. You can find the templates or the downloadable cut file below. I attached the pages to the cover with a decorative brad on the bottom. To embellish my album, I die cut a gorgeous flower using the Hibiscus Garden 3D Die set and placed it to the center on the first page, as a main focal point. On the next pages, I used flat embellishments to prevent my album from being too bulky.
